Oscar

„The faithful brother“

Oscar was rescued in May 2021.

One day, we received a call about two young puppies who had become victims of a violent act. Oscar and his sister Luna were living on the streets of Chefchaouen when they were kicked by a resident, leaving both of them with broken hips at only three months old. Thankfully, their fractures healed well. What remained, however, was a deep fear of humans.

Even as a puppy, Oscar protected his sister on the streets, a trait that still defines his character today. He is cautious and reserved with new people but shows a gentle and friendly side with familiar caregivers. Once trust is established, Oscar enjoys affection and closeness and forms strong bonds with those he feels safe around.

Oscar is a smaller medium-sized dog with beautiful black fur and striking, pointed ears. He gets along very well with other dogs and has no difficulty making new canine friends. While he is initially wary of men, he feels more comfortable with women, making a female first caregiver an ideal match for him.

Oscar was born around February 2021. We are looking for a calm, dog-experienced home that can offer him patience, structure, and the security he needs to continue building trust at his own pace.
