Loco was originally one of our „Taggy dogs“ in Chefchaouen- apart of our TNVR program where we tag, neuter, vaccinate, treat and then release each dog back to their territory.
In October 2021, the authorities in Chefchaouen decided to deal with the problem of stray dogs by deporting them violently from Chefchaouen to remote locations with no access to food nor water. During this time, we managed to save some of our taggy dogs, like Loco, from deportation and give them a chance at a new life.
