Malea

“Handsome Girl”

Malea was rescued in April 2024.

A tourist informed us about a dog dragging herself along the street and unable to walk properly. We found Malea, a very sweet and exceptionally gentle young dog. Due to irreparable neurological damage to her front leg, the veterinarian had to amputate it. Malea quickly adapted to her new life situation and now gets along well on three legs.

Malea is simply adorable. She is not demanding, likes people, and is not particularly fearful. Her gentle and kind soul never fails to bring a smile to our faces. She gets along well with other dogs and enjoys the company of all people. Despite having three legs, she is not particularly restricted or in need of special care.

Malea was likely born in October 2023, and she hopes not to stay too long in the refuge, finding loving people who will love her just the way she is—even with three legs.
