Navayo was rescued in 2021 after suffering unimaginable cruelty. He had been severely kicked and abused, causing a serious hernia. A massive, blood-filled swelling developed on his small body, eventually becoming heavier than his own weight.
Lini rescued Navayo and rushed him to a clinic, where he underwent a highly complicated and risky surgery to remove the enormous mass. There was no safe option — only the chance to fight for his life.
Thankfully, the surgery was successful. After a long period of intensive care and recovery at the refuge, Navayo slowly regained his strength and made a full recovery.
Despite everything he endured, Navayo never lost his gentle spirit. Even after such severe abuse, he remained social, trusting, and full of joy — a true example of resilience and forgiveness.
Today, Navayo has found a loving home and is living his best life, far away from the people who once hurt him.
