At Beldi Dog Rescue, we are committed to providing sanctuary, medical care, and lifelong support to street dogs who have nowhere else to turn. Morocco’s street dog population has long lived in precarious conditions. Cultural attitudes and insufficient animal welfare infrastructure have left these animals exposed to suffering and violence. Our team witnesses these realities daily. Yet amidst this hardship, we also witness incredible resilience and the capacity for connection between humans and animals. Each dog we save is a life transformed – from fear and starvation to safety and care. This transformation, however, comes at a cost.
