“The Unstoppable Boy”
Sami was rescued in 2025 after his owner gave him up. His leg had been severely damaged in a car accident and unfortunately had to be amputated. For his owner, this meant he was no longer wanted. Sami was left behind. In the beginning, he clearly missed his owner, but over time he had no choice but to adapt to life in the shelter.
Sami is a very active and energetic dog despite having only three legs. He loves to run and play with other dogs, and his disability does not hold him back. With male dogs, it depends on the chemistry, but in general he enjoys social interaction. Sami also loves to play with people and can sometimes be a bit rough, which is why children in the household should be a little more steady and confident. He walks very well on a leash and handles walks with ease.
Like many young dogs in the shelter, Sami has a lot of energy and a strong willingness to learn. He would benefit from a home with someone who already has some dog experience and can guide him and teach him the basics. Sami is very eager to learn and can pick things up quickly when given the chance. More than anything, he just wants to belong to someone.
Sami was born in August 2024, and he is ready to start his life, not spend it waiting behind kennel walls. He is looking for someone who sees his strength, not his missing leg, and gives him the future he deserves.
