“Our little jumpy”
Kai was rescued after living as a street dog near the refuge. She was part of our neutering program, but when her safety was no longer guaranteed, we brought her into the refuge. Like many of our dogs, she didn’t understand why her life suddenly changed from freedom to being confined.
Kai is a confident and cheerful young dog who brings a lovely mix of playfulness and independence. She enjoys being around people but is not overly demanding, making her a very easy companion to have around. She has a slightly cheeky side and a curious nature, always interested in what’s going on around her. With other dogs, she gets along very well and enjoys playful interactions.
She walks well on a leash and loves getting out to explore. Kai is an active dog who would thrive in a home where she can be included in daily life, go on walks, and continue learning. She is adaptable, uncomplicated, and would suit many homes, including first-time dog owners who want a friendly but not overly clingy dog.
Kai was likely born in April 2023 and is ready to finally leave shelter life behind and discover what it means to have her own home.
