“The Funny One”
Hitchcock was rescued in November 2024.
Hitchcock had been living as a street dog right in front of our refuge. He was part of our TNVT program – neutered, vaccinated, and clearly marked with an ear tag. Sadly, complaints about the street dogs in the area increased, and we wanted to prevent Hitchcock and others from being harmed or killed by authorities or locals. To keep them safe, we decided to take them into the refuge.
Hitchcock is a slightly goofy, good-humored dog who is simply fun to be around. He loves people and enjoys close contact, often climbing onto laps for cuddles. While he can be protective of the people he cares about (mostly women) his nature is fair and balanced. He gets along very well with other dogs and naturally takes on a calm, fair leadership role in his kennel.
Hitchcock walks very nicely on a leash and loves being out and about. Exploring, hiking, and discovering new places clearly bring him joy. He is a well-balanced dog who combines affection, confidence, and playfulness in a very pleasant way.
Hitchcock was likely born in June 2022. He is ready for a life beyond the refuge – one filled with shared adventures, closeness, and everyday moments with his people.
