Clyde

Male

“The forgotten”

Clyde was rescued in 2023 after his owner brought him to us for help. He had a simple fracture in his leg, which healed quickly and without complications. But once Clyde was better, his owner never came back for him. He was simply left behind. Clyde didn’t just lose his home that day, something in him broke too.

Clyde is a very sweet and gentle dog with a submissive nature. He can be a little insecure at times, but he has never shown any aggression. With other dogs, he is excellent, there have never been any issues with him in the kennel. He avoids conflict and adapts well to his surroundings. Clyde especially enjoys going for walks, as it allows him to escape the hectic and stressful daily life in the refuge. In those quiet moments outside, you can truly see the wonderful dog he is. There is so much potential in him, just waiting for the right person to bring it out.

Like many of our dogs, Clyde has never really had the chance to experience a loving family. He would benefit greatly from a calm and patient home, that would want to show him the world and what true love means.

Clyde was born in November 2022, and it would be heartbreaking if he had to spend his whole life in the shelter. He is still so young and deserves the chance to truly live.

Would someone be willing to give him that chance?
